Recycling

NEW in 2021!!
Effective April 5, 2021 Household Recycling Collection will occur Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Please ensure that you have your recycling cart spaced properly at the curb by 7:00am.

All items can be placed loose in the cart, no need to sort or tie the items.
How to place your blue cart for collection:
  • Place the cart with the back wheels against the curb or edge of the road
  • Point the cart with lid opening towards the center of the road or lane.
  • Space the cart one arm's length clearance (one meter or 39 inches) on all sides of the cart.  This is to allow enough room for the collection truck to grab your cart.
  • Look up—avoid placing your cart under hydro or telephone wires, basketball hoops, awnings and tree limbs
ACCEPTED MATERIALS:
