Sunova Centre Programs

The Sunova Centre - West St. Paul's Recreation Site offers numerous great recreational programs and activities for people of all ages and abilities to enjoy.  Check out the information on all the programs happening at the Sunova Centre below!

If you wish to participate in a
Sunova Centre Program please complete
the appropriate On-Line Program Registration Form below!  
By completing the On-Line Program Registration Form you will not need to submit the traditional paper form required previously!

 Please Note: Some work computers may block access to the On-Line Registration Form,  so if you cannot access it try it on your personal computer or on your mobile device!
Most Registration Fee Payments can be submitted to the Sunova Centre - West St. Paul's Recreation Site
Payments are accepted in cash or cheque (payable to the RM of West St. Paul)

Enjoy a MINI version of Sunova Summer Camp during SPRING BREAK!
Campers will participate in awesome activities such as Arts & Crafts, Organized Games, Sports, Special Theme Days & More!!  Activity Calendar TBA!!
Camp Dates: Monday March 25th-Friday March 29th 
Camp Time: 8am-5pm - Drop-Off any time after 8am, Pick-Up any time before 5pm
Registration Fees: Full Week: $120/Camper; 4-Day Week: $105/Camper;
3-Day Week: $85/Camper; 2-Day Week: $65/Camper; Single Day: $35/Camper
Age Range: Children Ages 4-11yrs
Each Camper should bring a labeled water bottle, gym shoes, weather appropriate clothing for indoor and outdoor activities, 2 peanut-free snacks and a lunch (we have a microwave)

The Sunova Junior Leadership Program is open to pre-teens and teens over the age of 12yrs that are looking to make a difference by volunteering!  Junior Leaders will work alongside Camp Staff, acting as Volunteer Camp Staff, for our Camp Programs geared towards kids ages 4-11yrs. 
Participants MUST be 12yrs old by March 2nd, 2019 in order to be eligible to enroll

Junior Leaders duties will include, but are not limited to the following:
- Assist with the supervision of the children registered for the program
- Assist with coordinating gym games and activities
- Assist with completing arts and craft activities
- Assist with tidying up snack/lunch areas; the gym; kitchen, boardroom and gym equipment room
 -Assist with other tasks outlined by the Recreation Director and/or Camp Staff
Time Commitment:
Sunova Spring Break Camp 2019 runs from 8am-5pm Monday March 25th-Friday March 29th.
The schedule for Junior Leaders can be flexible in terms of the days and times they are on-site.

Sportball - Multi-Sport Programs for ages 16 months-5yrs

Sportball is a Multi-Sport program that keeps children moving and engaged!  New skills from a different sport is instructed each class. These well-rounded classes provide an amazing foundation for a lifetime of active living - bundling soccer, baseball, basketball, football, hockey, volleyball, golf and tennis into one program. That’s 8 sports per session for one registration!  All games, activities and instructions have a purpose and expected outcome. Sportball’s goal is to build your child’s confidence, competence and Physical Literacy. Sportball programs target three key areas of childhood development, helping them build skills for life!

Sportball Winter Session
8-Sessions: Sundays - January 13th-March 17th 
(No Class: February 10th & 24th)

Sportball Junior - Ages 16 months-30 months - 10:15-11am
Toddlers and parents/caregivers focus on physical movements and social exploration, learn fundamental sport skills and participate in creative motor games, songs, stories, bubble time and more. Children are challenged according to their individual skill level and Coaches help grownups 
understand proven teaching techniques that can be applied outside of Sportball classes.
Multi-Sport Parent & Child - Ages 2-3.5yrs - 11:15am-Noon
Sportball Parent & Child program helps pre-schoolers to refine their motor skills, such as balance and coordination, as well as develop their social skills such as confidence, following instructions, turn-taking and sharing. Coaches introduce a different sport each class using developmentally
 appropriate games and activities.

Multi-Sport Coach & Child - Ages 3.5-5yrs - 12:15-1:15pm
Refine, rehearse, repeat. Multi-Sport classes are the heart of Sportball programming. Coaches focus on the basic skills common to all sports, like balance, coordination, stamina and timing in a fun, supportive, non-competitive setting that emphasizes teamwork. Each class focuses on one of eight different popular sports: hockey, soccer, football, baseball, basketball, volleyball, golf and tennis.
